The 2009 Naples Forum on Services at Capri, Italy on 16-19 June 2009
The 2009 Naples Forum on Services was organized in Capri, Italy on 16-19 June 2009 together with The European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management (EIASM), University of Naples ‘Federico II’ and University of Cassino. The aim of the 2009 Naples Forum was to stimulate discussion between scholars and practitioners on three, interdependent themes, i.e. Service-Dominant Logic, Service Science and Network Theory. The Naples Forum hosted more than 100 academic and practitioner presentations from 25 countries worldwide together with interactive discussion panels.
SCR participated the 2009 Naples Forum by presenting a paper: Vänskä, J. et al., ‘Pursuit of Business Renewal through Discontinuous Service Innovations’.
The distinguished keynote speakers on the Forum were: Professor Stephen Vargo (University of Hawaii, USA), Professor Robert Lusch (University of Arizona, USA), PhD, Director Jim Spohrer (IBM Almaden Research Center, San Jose, USA) and Professor Evert Gummesson (Stockholm University, Sweden).
