Three presentations by SC-R at RESER2014 conference
The 24th Annual RESER conference (www.reser2014.fi) was organized in Helsinki Finlandia hall on September 11-13, 2014. The event was organized by VTT (Technical Research Centre of Finland). RESER (The European Association for REsearch on SERvices) is a network of research groups and individuals active in services research and policy formulation This year, the conference attracted 200 researchers from all over the world. The keynote speech was delivered by Professor Stephen L. Vargo, who is the founding father of Service-Dominant-Logic.
SC-R researchers presented three papers at the conference. Arja Kuusisto presented the paper titled “Users as effectual innovators: A new perspective into user and service innovation”, which was co-authored by Juha Arrasvuori, Jari Kuusisto and Selina Liang.
Juha Arrasvuori made a presentation of the paper “Speed of New Service Development among Finnish ‘low-tech’ SMEs “, co-authored by Juha Vänskä and Selina Liang. Finally, Juha Vänskä presented the paper titled “The use of service design tools as ‘boundary spanning objects’ in SMEs”, which he co-authored with Juha Arrasvuori. These two papers presented results from the recently completed NOVUS-project.
